With the Stype kit, you can turn the industry standard camera crane – Stanton Jimmy Jib – into an encoded crane capable of data tracking and virtual output to industry’s leading render engines. Precise coordinates of the camera head in 3D space are tracked and sent to render engines such as Vizrt, Orad or Marketgraph. Using this positional data, any computer generated objects or animations can seamlessly be added to a real life set – thus creating an augmented reality set. This principle can also be used with a green or blue screen for virtual studio sets.
Another unmatched feature of the Stype kit is its ability to automatically aim and focus the point in 3D space. This feature comes in extremely useful when working with the virtual graphics because it allows the crane operator to aim and focus on an object that isn’t physically present in studio.
