With the Stype kit, you can turn the industry standard camera crane – Stanton Jimmy Jib – into an encoded camera crane capable of data tracking and virtual output to industry’s leading render engines such as Vizrt, Orad and others. Using this positional data, any computer generated object or animation can be seamlessly added into a real life set – thus creating an augmented reality set. This principle can also be used with a green or blue screen for virtual studio sets. You can use the Stype kit for inside or outside broadcast and achieve immersive 3D broadcast graphics more easily than ever.
Move the camera in 3D space without limitations using crane arms with up to 10m (30ft) reach and dolly on rails. Stype kit’s main console receives positional data of the camera in 3D space and sends it in real time to the render engine of choice. Such information includes PAN/TILT/ROLL of the head, FOCUS&ZOOM from the camera, PAN/TILT of the camera crane’s arm. You can even put the crane on rails and receive virtual data along this axis too for ultimate flexibility.
